Payment
Policy
Unless other arrangements
are made in writing between both parties,
all projects at Anvil & Hammer
Studios require a pre-determined
deposit prior to their initiation, 50% of remaining
balance due upon concept approval, and the
remainder due upon completion. Anvil
& Hammer Studios owns all project's digital
and non-digital materials created by Anvil & Hammer
Studios until payment is received in full.
Full payment is due upon project completion,
and must be made by check, cash, or credit
card via PayPal.
Development Policy
Anvil & Hammer
Studios reserves the right not to accept
projects that promote anything that it finds
objectionable, opinionated, or controversial.
This includes websites containing or promoting
racism, pornography, religion, politics,
or other similar subject matter.
Websites created by
Anvil & Hammer Studios
must have the statement "Website designed
by Anvil & Hammer Studios"
(and possibly include a small Anvil
& Hammer Studios logo and/or link) placed
in the footer of each page. If you wish to
have this removed, this may be negotiated
at additional cost.
Anvil & Hammer
Studios reserves the right to include any
projects developed by us in our portfolio.
Limitation of Liability
Anvil & Hammer
Studios will not be liable for indirect,
special or consequential damages, or any
loss of revenue or profits, arising in connection
with the projects that we developed.
Anvil & Hammer Studios reserves the right
to delay or stop any project development for
any reason without liability. Anvil & Hammer
Studios will notify the client immediately
of any changes of project development status,
and make appropriate arrangements. If a stoppage
in development is caused by Anvil &
Hammer Studios, the client will be refunded
the deposit minus any billable hours.
Project contents
All digital and non-digital
materials supplied by the client to Anvil & Hammer Studios
for project development must be, either owned
by the client or given copyright permission
for publication. Anvil & Hammer Studios
is not responsible for copyright infringements
found on these materials.
Cancellation of project
development
A request to cancel
project must be made, in writing, to Anvil & Hammer Studios and
include the signature of the authoritative
client. Anvil &
Hammer Studios will charge for the hours accumulated
in project development prior to when the cancellation
request is made.
Pause in project development
A request to pause
project development must be made in writing
to Anvil &
Hammer Studios and include the signature of
the authoritative client. The delay will not
exceed a period of 30 days. Unless other arrangements
are made between both parties, Anvil & Hammer
Studios will assume any delay requested by
the client that exceeds the 30-day period,
without notification, a cancellation, and hence
will charge for the number of hours accumulated
in project development before the request to
pause is made.
